Project Overview
Boulder Planet Jakarta is a contemporary bouldering gym located inside Neo Soho Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia. Developed within a high-volume commercial environment, the project combines climbing, training and social spaces across multiple levels within a compact urban footprint.
The generous ceiling height of the existing space allowed the introduction of mezzanine levels that significantly expanded the functionality of the gym. Altline Studio developed the overall space planning, detailed climbing wall design and interior concept, including custom furniture, coworking areas, changing rooms and support spaces integrated throughout the facility.
The layout combines varied bouldering terrain with dedicated training and fitness areas, together with an auto-belay wall designed for a broader range of users. Elevated coworking and lounge spaces overlook the main climbing hall and surrounding city views, while the mezzanine bouldering area further expands the climbing experience and strengthens the visual connection across the gym.
