City Bouldering Stratford, London, UK. 

Located in East London, City Bouldering Stratford is part of the City Bouldering network and offers approximately 950 sq. m of indoor climbing-focused space, including around 600 sq. m of climbing surface. Positioned close to Stratford station, the gym combines extensive bouldering terrain with training and social areas in an industrial-style setting designed for everyday climbing and regular training.

Altline Studio developed the detailed bouldering wall design for the facility, shaping a varied climbing landscape with a mix of slab, vertical and steep terrain to support different movement styles and route-setting possibilities. The wall geometry was developed to create contrast across the climbing experience, from technical sequences and coordination-style movement to more powerful climbing on overhanging sections.

The climbing walls reflect City Bouldering’s visual identity through natural plywood finishes, warm orange and turquoise accents, creating a recognizable atmosphere within the industrial interior.
